Today I will take everyone to see elephants. It is a half day program. There is a shuttle to the accommodation. When we arrived at the elephant camp, the staff welcomed us very well. Upon arrival, snacks and coffee were immediately available. For the baggage you carry with you There are lockers available. We arrived early and had the opportunity to play with an elephant named Uthai. She is kind and friendly. And they really like to eat. The first step of the project is to educate tourists about elephants.Explain the importance of caring for and raising elephants. Including how to treat them correctly and ethically, how to make vitamin balls. When finished, give vitamins ball and fruits to them
It was so exciting when we got close to him. Even though he's big But he is still cute, kind, and playful. Everyone who participated in today's activities were equally excited.
The next step is to bathe and create a mud spa for the elephants. Unfortunately, I did not bring a change of clothes so I was unable to participate in this activity. So we took cute pictures. Let's share it for everyone to see.
Have you ever wondered why elephants like to sprinkle mud and dirt or sand on their bodies? So what is the purpose of applying mud or making a mud spa for elephants?
1. Protect and preserve the skin.
- Mud has properties that help strengthen elephant skin and prevent irritation from insects or hot sunlight. Elephants use mud all over their bodies to reduce heat and protect against insect bites.
2.Cooling
- On a hot day Applying mud all over the body will help lower the elephant's body temperature. Makes the elephant feel cool Elephants often use water and mud to cool their bodies.
3. Play and happiness
- Applying mud is an activity that elephants really like. It is a way of playing and building relationships between elephants and other elephants. There are also people taking care of them and applying mud to make them feel fun and happy.
4.Take care of the elephant's skin and hair.
- Mud contains minerals that are beneficial to the skin and fur of elephants. Helps make the skin strong and the fur look shiny.
After bathing and applying mud to the elephant. The staff took the elephant to rest and eat. Our next activity was taking a shower and making papaya salad. The staff will teach foreigners how to make papaya salad. When finished, you can eat. He organized it as a buffet. Finished eating and sent back to the accommodation. Before leaving, don't forget to leave a tip to encourage the employees in their work. No flaws at all, everyone is cute.
This experience not only makes us feel happy. But it also makes one feel the importance of preserving and protecting elephants. Getting close to the elephants and feeling their gentleness It was an unforgettable experience and will remain in my heart forever.
